SIX 12-WEEK WORKSHOPS
Through 12‑week mentorship programs and special pre‑teen employment sessions, young people ages 10–16 discover their strengths, set goals, and learn how to make responsible decisions.
1. SELF‑DISCOVERY AND AWARENESS
Develop self‑awareness, emotional intelligence, and healthy habits through personalized mentorship.
Participants gain a clear understanding of their strengths and weaknesses while building confidence, self‑control, and positive routines as they interact with peers.
2. HIGH ACHIEVER
This workshop helps youth develop leadership skills and enhance decision‑making abilities.
Through structured activities, participants learn how to work in teams, collaborate on projects, and apply self‑awareness to real leadership situations—making informed decisions and working effectively with others.
3. EXPECT THE BEST
Expect the Best cultivates a positive mindset and practical life skills like goal‑setting and time management.
Youth learn how to set daily and weekly goals, create simple action plans, and build resilience so they can tackle challenges and pursue their dreams with confidence and a positive outlook.
4. PUMP IT UP
Pump It Up provides a platform for self‑expression through dance, art, music, performance, and other creative talents.
Participants gain confidence by showcasing their gifts, building self‑esteem, and encouraging one another’s creativity in a supportive community, with chances to share talents at YWA events and talent shows.
5. TRUST THE PROCESS
Trust the Process teaches essential life skills, including money management and budgeting.
Participants learn how to make responsible financial decisions, understand needs versus wants, and see how consistent, small choices today can shape their future opportunities.
6. PRE-TEEN EMPLOYMENT WORKSHOP
The Pre‑Teen Employment Workshop teaches the key fundamentals of how to prepare for an interview and show up confidently in early work experiences.
Youth ages 13–16 also receive study hall support for homework and group projects, plus special pre‑teen employment training that introduces them to workplace expectations and communication
