Who can volunteer at YWA?
We welcome adults and teens (age 16+) who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of local youth.
Do I need experience to volunteer?
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, support, and engage. Training is provided for all roles.
What ages do volunteers work with?
Our programs serve youth ages 10–14 in Palm Beach County.
How much time do I need to commit?
Volunteer opportunities range from one-time events to weekly after-school programs. We offer flexible options to fit your schedule.
Will I receive training or support?
Yes! All volunteers receive orientation and ongoing support from our team and fellow mentors.
How do I get started?

Yes, to ensure the safety of our youth, all volunteers must pass a standard background check.
